I'm very pleased to have the opportunity to participate in the group exhibition "SHOWCASE" at the gallery Kunstpunkt Berlin together with 8 other resident artists from Kladow Kolleg.
The exhibition opens on Thursday 3 September and runs until Sunday 20 September. During this period, BERLIN ARTWEEK will also take place from 9 to 13 September.

In 2001, Heinz Günter Herpel founded the non-commercial exhibition space kunstpunkt berlin to support artists working with unconventional and experimental approaches and positions.
Over 100 exhibitions have since been realized across 300 square meters in Berlin-Mitte. For 10 years, there has been a cooperation with the network of independent Berlin project spaces and initiatives (Netzwerk freier Berliner Projekträume und -initiativen).
Three years ago, the Kunstpunkt Stiftung Herpel (Herpel Kunstpunkt Foundation), based in Berlin-Kladow, was established. It supports projects with innovative theoretical approaches and awards corresponding residency grants.
On the occasion of the anniversary exhibition, grant recipients of the foundation were invited to present works reflecting their theoretical positions.
