Encounter with Sound - An exhibition by students of my residency workshop in Oriental Institute of Technology, New Taipei City

Yesterday was the opening day for students' works in Oriental Institute of Technology, New Taipei City.

After 4 months' workshop, the nine students in two teams created 2 works related to sound and correspondence.

The one in front of the entrance of Youxiang Building entitled “Listen!” is made with pipes.

Another one on the 3rd floor is made of recycled materials such as plastic bottles and discarded disks, and formed into a monster's head, entitled “Speak up bravely!”.

President Huang came to give spiritual rewards and an encouragement speech to the students. Each team introduced their own creative concepts to the audience.

The students made a good exhibition. All the efforts and laborious inputs are worthwhile eventually.

A “Happy Ending” for everyone!

Other small works that students made in the workshop: ceremic mushrooms, pipe sculpture.
